RecipeQuinoa Breakfast Cereal
This recipe makes enough for 2 people for 3-4 days 2 cups quinoa (washed & drained) 2 small or 1 large fuji, sundowner or pink lady apples (skin on & cut into small cubes) 2 table spoons goji berries 2 table spoons sultanas 2 table spoons dried cranberries (roughly chopped) A dash of vanilla extract Cinnamon
Add quinoa, apples, berries, sultanas, goji berries, cranberries, vanilla extract, water and a sprinkle of cinnamon to your saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce and simmer for about 12-14 minutes.
Allow the quinoa to cool and drizzle some honey over the top.
Store the quinoa mixture it in an airtight container in your fridge.
For breakfast spoon some quinoa into your cereal bowl and add your preferred milk (oat, soy, rice, low fat) | |
